I have an item in my computer taskbar that i want to remove, it is a link to a spyware website, how do I delete it. Thanks.

the only way to get rid of them without losing them is to uncheck these programs from the startup box ..... go start - run and type msconfig then choose startup box and uncheck these unwanted program , and if u dont want these programs to run , without ur permission , choose service box and unckeck them , by this way u'll get ur computer faster also ..if that helped i'll be waiting for the 10points ..lol

Right click and delete or exit. Open Control panel, Add/Remove Programs, search for the program, if exists remove.

Try uninstall from Add/remove program from control panel or you can go to Start>Run>type "msconfig" and go to startup program and uncheck the corresponding entry.

Try holding the Alt key down and dragging it up to the desktop. Sometimes it asks if you want to move.
Say yes, and move it to the desktop.
If you are sure you want to remove, right-cl and delete.
