6 titles, big deal... not even close to the record (11).
His achievements without Scottie Pippen as a teammate were few and far between.
Jordan played 15 seasons, and played on five losing teams.
Only when Jordan was paired with Pippen did the Bulls have a winning record.
Jordan's record during the five seasons he played without Pippen as a teammate was 182-228 (.444).
Also, Jordan was 1-9 in the playoffs without Pippen, which hardly suggests the greatest player ever. The greatest player ever should have been able to get out of the first round without having another top-50 teammate. But Jordan never got past the first round of the playoffs without Scottie Pippen as a teammate.
Pippen however, played on 16 straight winning teams. His only "losing" season was his final one, during which he retired with injuries after playing only 23 games.
Pippen could win with or without Jordan. Jordan could not win without Pippen.
