No it's not really ok to belch loudly in public, but I still better get applause!!!!!! lol

Actually...it's considered a compliment if you belch while eating in some countries....
Other than that....maybe at a frat house you'll get applause

Not only is it okay, I think it should be expected. When it comes to belching I am quite an expert and I think that someone should show me some appreciation.

My little sister is doing it and she thinks she's doing something cool! They even compete in belching at school!
