I am a true metal head....but i could care less about dime...he was a horrible hack of a guitarist...he did nothing for the sound he did nothing for the talent of the instrument..
there is plenty of other metal guitarist out there..
yes i agree it was a horrible way to go...but life goes on.......
if you want true metal listen to....iron maiden, judas priest, jag panzer, rhapsody, opeth, dream theater, transatlantic, savatage, dragonforce, and cynic
now those bands are true metal...not the screamo type

Why do you 'metal-heads' care so much? Did you personally know him? He played guitar well but come on! Pantera? Just another super-aggressive throwaway act of the '90s (not to mention the garbage they released in the '80s)...
