xbox oblivion help.?

2 questions

1- in the arena does hiting the arrow targets and the sword dummys increase your skills?

2- how can i get level ups faster?

No, unfortunately, using the dummies won't increase your skills. They will however, help with your timing on Power attacks and help you gauge distances better so your power attacks will hit more often.

Leveling up in Oblivion can be a curse if you don't do it right. I could write several paragraphs on what you need to do to get it right, but suffice it to say you should control it. Leveling up occurs when your major skills increase a total of 10 times. So look at your major skills and concentrate on using them.

Not sure about the Xbox, but tried the same type stuff in the pc version. It was a waste of time. You could increase some of your magic skills by just continually casting it (ie. light, summon,dispel play around with it bit and you'll figure it out). Destruction magic has to cause damage to increase. you could also kill your summoned creatures to gain experience. Like I said this was on the pc, might work for Xbox. Good luck, and by the way the best looking game I've played to date on a pc.

u need to search for a walkthrough online ... generally leveling up too fast isnt a good thing ....
