Looking for suggestions for hotel or condo in Cancun (in April). Last time we stayed in a hotel downtown. Not the nicest or the most scenic, but it didn't matter we weren't there much (the usual sleep and shower). This time we are thinking of renting a place a little nicer (maybe by the beach), but some of the places are outrageously priced. The extra amenities are not important to us. What hotel/condo did you stay at that you enjoyed and was reasonably priced?

Also, it will be 2 couples and myself going for 1 week. I'm trying to keep my 'hotel/condo budget' under $400, but I'm flexible. Thanks in Advance.

If your looking for budget and closer to the main strip you can try Dos Playas, it's smaller , clean, food is ok and cheap, http://www.dosplayas.com they have EP rates and AI rates. If you want a good rate on condos I would suggest Salvia Condos, check out http://www.cancuncondos.biz . You can also try http://www.cancuncondos.com, I usually book through them, or for Salvia Condos contact info below

ARUBA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cancun is like Las Vegas, the coronary heart beat in no way stops. Loud, boisterous and inebriated celebration city. the different travelers would be aggressive and opt to celebration difficult consisting of your youthful-person babies. Aruba expenditures greater considering the indisputable fact that's nicely worth it. Cancun is usa city, Mexico. the single valuable element approximately Cancun over Aruba could be that there is a much wider determination of inns in Cancun. despite in case you may take care of the crowds and the bass 24/7 I nonetheless would not recommend it. Cancun is for bachelor events and springer breakers. ARUBA, Aruba, Aruba... based on Alcohol's remark approximately it being risky to project outdoors the tourist section till you're on a bus crammed with gringos: that's comprehensive fake. After vacationing around Mexico's non-English conversing areas, and returning domicile I had my handbag stolen on the airport. via an American! The Mexican people have been supremely hospitable, curious and rather powerful, in case you're making an attempt to no longer act ignorant.
