the information they get let them know who is the registered owner of the car that tag is to be displayed on, also they can find out the county were this tag was issued, if this tag is expired,if this tag was issued for comercial or private use of the vehicle,handicaped driver,they get as much info as that law enforcement agencie may have acces to, about the register owner and the car the the tag belongs.

They first can see the registered owner's information and any notices that the vehicle is stolen. They can then run a check on that registered owner for warrants, driving on suspended license, etc.
