Screen Shots not working?

Question

I have a windows XP. And the other day I took a screen shot fine, And now when I try I get NOTHING.
Anybody help?

I tried holding down the print screen button, refreshing. Everything.
I use MS Paint.

I used paint before.
It's not what i use.

ctrl , alt printscreen together shud do the trick.

When you press Prn Scr, you are taking a picture of the window and putting it in the clipboard (memory). Now you go to a Word document, right-click, and paste.

This may not work in Paint. Sometimes you have to Edit, Paste.
