Yes. Without-a-doubt, the best progressive rock group in history. By a narrow margin one of the best bands ever. They've got lyrical depth, complex song structure, a dynamic sound, and a longevity unmatched by nearly all other bands in musical history. They don't get a lot of airtime, so I can understand why some people wouldn't even know who they are, but ignorance is no excuse.

If anyone's hated Rush at one point or another, they're more than likely wrong by now. Their knack for changing their overall sound dramatically every four albums or so has left a myriad of different stages in their career where someone almost has to like them. Zeppelin-esque, classic progressive, pop-progressive, guitar-centric, and the recent hard-sounding traditional trio usually mean there's something for everyone. Unless you like hip-hop. In which case, you probably shouldn't be reading this.

That being said, their new single "Far Cry" hits radio March 19th. Their new album hits May 1st. I'll be first in line when it's out. Concert starts June 13th. I'll be there, too. If you wanna hear some of "Far Cry", go to rush.com. There oughta be a link you can click to hear it. Quite good.

But yes, Rush is the greatest band ever.

i do no longer likely be attentive to many songs via Rush, yet i'm going to confess Rush has some ******' proficient individuals. Alex Lifeson on guitar, Neil Peart on drums, Geddy Lee on bass--few bands can beat Rush in terms of skills. they're tremendously good at songwriting, and that they are between the few bands i'm able to stand consistent instrumentals from. in reality, i like instrumentals greater valuable. i be attentive to few songs, so bare with this particularly short record (it is so as): a million. l. a. Villa Strangiato 2. YYZ 3. Tom Sawyer Yep, i like myself "l. a. Villa Strangiato".

I don't think so, Led Zepplin is and Pink Floyd is 2nd , with a whole
bunch of bands 3rd place.
But, I like Rush and Tom Sawyer is a favorite song by them.
