Right wingers argue that anyone critical of the US and American foreign policy- or shoot at US troops-all 'hate freedom'. They claim critics of the US hate America becuse they are jealous of Aericas freedoms. Are critics of America that are here actually jealous of Americas freedom- and if not, what do you think of the claim made by Bush's supporters that you hate freedom?

Right wingers are afraid to address the real question,

How much freedom does an American have left?

So they rant and rave.

The real question is why do all those people in Iraq, Iran, Venizala, Panama, Afganistan, Cuba, Columbia and on and on hate the

GOVERNMENT of the USA,

because it invades, sponsers coups of democraticaly elected governments, and sponsers a "War on Drugs/War on Terror" in a pathetic attempt to build an empire.

Foreigners do not understand what freedom repugs keep talking about. Most of the world has the same freedoms as America. It's only the ones with problems that are reported in the media. The media does not talk about the parts of the world that is more refined than cowboy America.

I think they do it to create this if your not for me your against me attitude. It comes in handy when Congress wants to exercise their Constitutional right to pull funding, or disagrees with the Bush Administration's policies. Or when someone like the New York Times reports on illegal wiretapping. It is convient when they are doing something they know violates the Constitution and is wrong they say it helps the terrorists and you hate America. Nothing could be further from the truth.

To assume they are jealous of America is down right arrogant. While our country is great (sans Bush) that doesn't mean other people in other nations don't love their country just as much. But, yeah, I'm tired of being called unpatriotic or anti-freedom or pro-terrorism just because I want this war to end and have our troops home safe and sound. They can kiss my patriotic patooty.

The hatred of freedom comes primarily from those who wear the American flag on their lapel and call everyone else a hater of America for not ratifying their views.

America is a country built on dissent. It is wholly un-American to deny that heritage. Is George W. Bush a patriot? I suppose the answer is "yes," if you base it on falsifying information to invade a sovereign nation and topple its government, only to occupy it and dictate to it. All for what? A bit of oil and self-satisfaction.

One might ask how someone so cruel and unusual as President Bush sleeps at night. One might also ask how a nation built on dissent, and prides itself on self-determination and freedom, tolerates a president so outwardly hating of its core values.

finally! human beings are establishing their eyes to confirm the reality and the data displayed the following talk for themselves. After that tremendous answer from gypsy_cat 345, i have not were given a lot to say except that folk like Vanessa might want to seem on the bigger photo and make her own checks, somewhat than believing in what the media opt for human beings to trust. also, i don't think of human beings might want to balme the Islamic faith for the moves of ignorant so-stated as Muslims who declare they are appearing on its behalf. secondly, i don't think of Israel is only a small united states that desires to be left on my own. If this replaced into the case it does no longer have waged an finished-blown conflict on lebanon, killing thousands of human beings as a fashion to regain 2 of their squaddies who were captured by Hezbollah. shouldn't they imagine about liberating the 1000s of lebanese prisoners at present in Israel! Thirdly, Muslims do no longer have something hostile to Jews. the region is with the Zionists and Israelis. BTW, i'm no longer Lebanese. i'm merely pointing out what i beleive is the reality

Actually I found the more vocal right wingers on Yahoo Answers are mostly more extreme types.

The rational ones they are sad to see their views were tinted by their less polished red neck layers.

Therefore, things may not look bad as it appears.

You made a valid statement, and then you stuck a question mark
