Chickenhawks on the right cant wait to wage war with Iran- and I have a hunch we are heading that way- some of the hyenas on FOX are now saying the WMD that were in Iraq (LOL!!) were moved to Iran, so we now need to arttack Iran. Lets say the US does attack Iran- what will the outcome be? I highly doubt the British will tow the line this time. What will the objective be- to 'bring freedon' to Iran? If the US wants to rid the world of WMD, shouldn't it focus on cutting down on its own enormous supply of WMD?

The US would have to get some more popular support to invade Iran. The Iraq invasion seemed like the one free ride the US had to invade an Arab country, I don't think the world community will be as forgiving if the US does the same thing again. They would need UN approval or some kind of coalition agreement IMO.
Having said all of that.. A lot of us older people remember the hostage crisis in the 70's where the Iranians took over the US Embassy in Tehran and held a bunch of neutral government workers hostage for over a year. They were lucky we didn't invade them then, and they are really pressing their luck given their history with the US..

Well why should this happen!! Everybody knows that americans are quietly laughing about the hoha they try to creat in the media!! They just want to destroy the dependance of all the countries in the middleeast and you will see that most of the arab countries are indirectly effected by them. it ia Iran that is independant and her policies can at time conflict with those of usa. But middle east is the Persians home not the Americans and any one in the right mind can see the Iranians are being cornered and iranians are trying to improve their country and stay independent.Every difference is being highlighted to cause trouble. The persian proverb muddy the water and fish!!
