In the opinion of most it is only constructive for 1 hour a day and while watching something boring like those sucker Mere Cats on Animal Planet. They think they are sooo much better than ferrets.
Anyways...I watch a cool 3 hour probably. Mostly just evening shows such as 'Heroes', '24', etc.

I think it can be very good. I watch regularly to improve my English, particularly news (bbc or cnn). I also like History Channel, Animal Planet, good films and sometimes series, like smallville and lost. However it can be a way of destructing one's mind as well. There is mtv to prove that, and most series from warner channel and sony.

i don't think tv is ever a constructive activity at all, but watching a little is good.
