(Just in case you come back and read this) Jack actually I'm a very interesting person. But I don't talk to just anyone. That was a statement to you and not part of a conversation. Even if you do look very like me on my pale days.

Great question. It is generally known that FM (frequency modulation) sound travels better in winter when all the leaves are off the trees. Your speaking would be sound waves also. It would seem therefore somewhat logical to expect your speaking to travel faster in winter, but only where there are lot of trees with all their leaves off. Of course, I am just kidding you. Sound travels at what is it? 344 miles per second, or 770 miles per hour. This is at 70°F under normal atmospheric conditions. My sense is your spoken word would travel at pretty much the same velocity with or without the cooperation of the world and all its noise. I am hoping a physicist will check in and give us the true scoop because now you have made me curious! Best to you, always. Chris, in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old.)

Both! sooner or later people may hear you but only those closest to you and not those out of ear shot.

Probably later. Most people are too far away from me to hear sooner.

Neither sooner or later in person, but this is closest to it. Not bad for starters!
