6 years old...oh my mistake...you can only be six if you are working in one of their sweatshops overseas that allows Walmart to still make HUGE profits of all the crap they sell at "Everyday Low Prices."

Here is America, the minimun age to work in most states is 16.

(I am sure if there were no laws against it, WallyWorld would have 6 year olds working in this country too. 6 year olds work cheap and never ask for health benefits.)

The minimum age is 18. Wal-Mart won't hire minors anymore. You know because of the laws you have to follow and the fines that they could get if something was to happen. I myself have been employed there since I was 16. And to all the haters, you really shouldn't talk smack when you don't know what the hell you're talking about. This is a question that is meant to be answered not a place to put your worthless opinion. Get a life!

Wal-Mart age standards are a similar no remember what state you're in. sixteen is the minumum age to be a Cashier or a Cart Pusher, each and every thing else is eighteen. Many supermarkets including Kroger/King Soopers, Safeway, Albertsons, and so on, hire bagboys beginning at age 14. good good fortune!
