I would be careful with my hair dryer, you could burn your hair beyond repair

Someone had asked this earlier so i hope this helps...
First thing, just relax. Second, believe you can do it. Anyone can just hit a high note...what makes a difference is how you hit it. lol.... i mean I've heard people hit some high notes and it wasn't pretty! :)

So relax your shoulders and gently see and feel yourself landing on the note rather then reaching for it. Breathe in deeply, Be careful not to let your shoulders rise but rather let your stomach and abs expand. It is easier to sing and build up to higher notes then to just hit them.

Warming up is important. As an exercise you can keep your lips together and blow air through them (like a kid pretending he's a plane) and sing a scale moving up in half steps. This will help your body to recognize how you want air to be use while singing.

Hope this was useful.

Breath deep by using your diaphragm, (if you don't know how, pretend to sip air from a straw to get the feel of where exactly the air should be going.)
Don't lift your chin; leave it level. Reaching for the note by lifting your chin doesn't help, in fact it makes it more difficult.
Push from your diaphragm to get more strength in the high notes.

What we do in choir is stretch a little (singing is a physical exercise), jog in place a little to get our feet lined with our bodies properly, and put our shoulders back . And warming up is a good idea; sing scales, hum along to a piano that's moving up the scale, then hum down.

It's also a good idea to use tall vowels.
