I totally understand where your coming from. When I was in Middle School my mom was the same way. First of all let me say this, makeup does not always make people look better. Sometimes less is more. If you have a nice complexion don't taint it with pounds and pounds of makeup. lol. Sometimes a little blush, lip gloss, and mascara is all you'll need. Try writing your mom a letter. Be as mature as possible and explain to her why you want to wear makeup and how it makes you fee. If she still says no, STAY MATURE. If you want her to treat you like a young lady remember to act like one. Trust me, if she says no and you handle her a decision like a young adult, she will notice and in time come around to allowing you to wear makeup before 11th grade. Good Luck.

Trust me, the girls who wear make up will regret it in a few years and you skin will look great. Maybe you can talk your mom into just letting you wear mascara and some lipgloss.

Stay natural, in the end we all wish we had!!

Good luck!

i'm grade 10 and i don't were make-up, but everyone else does. just because everyone does something doesn't mean u should too. think of it this way ur unique, besde u should appreciate ur natural beauty, and know that once u start wering make-up u don't stop and this could lead to bad stuff, like ur marks dropping down, and getting bad attitude, u might not, like to listen to ur mother, but u'll appreciate her later on, cuz mothers always want the best for their children and don't let others pressure u into wearing make-up. be unique, stand out, for being pure, and not covered in make-up.

me too, same prob! even same personality...spooky... 4 now, satisfy urself by using it when shes out of the house- wipe if off when she comes home. in the long run, if u use makeup now, when you get older, your skin will be all pockmarked and GROSS. make up is not good for your skin, no matter how "natural" the brand is. put up a facade; listen to her on the outside but sneak it in when you can-don't push ur luck! maybe if mom's out of town in the morning as you get ready for school or something.

Be glad you don't wear any, because as soon as you start to, you'll never veer away from it, you'll think you look ugly with out it on. So it's better to just wait, plus guys like it better when a girls face isn't all covered up. I wish I never started wearing make up because now if i dont wear it i feel ugly, not a good feeling!!! Listen to your mama.

Ask her if a little mascara is ok maybe a neutral lipgloss. Something that is natural looking. Ask her to help you pick it out. And also you do not have to do what all your friends are doing either. Just because they are doing it does not mean you have to too!!!

I had the same problem.
My mom didnt want me to wear my make-up but i didnt listen to her & went ahead. Now it has ruined my natural beauty & i can't go out without it. My mom has warned me before & said it would be horrible to my skin & lashes & natural beauty but i didnt listen to her. I wish i had though! She was right! Its horrible. Listen, Im telling you from personal experience, your mom is doing whats best for you. Those other girls who wear it all the time [like me ;; im being honest] are going to be really bad looking when they grow old & wont have any natural beauty. Listen to your mom, it will pay off!

to tell u the truth....u are better off without makeuo....ur so young- u don't even need the makeup---i know you don't want to wear it ALL the time- but to tell u the truth- guyz like girls better WITHOUT the makeup.....there is this one girl in my school (10th grade) who plasters her face with MAKEUP and looks like a clown....she's always in the bathromm and no guyz even TALK to her.....when people see her in the hallway- especially guys- they laugh and say mean comments about her makeup....i don't like to wear alot of makeup- just mascar and eyeliner but for my acne scars- i feel wierd and wear a little foundation and concealer,......
but rememeber- natural beauty is definitely the best.

I feel for you, really. I let my kids where eye makeup at your age but not blush or lipstick,,the reverse of your mom...but I really just started letting them make their own decision and it seemed like they made good choices so I let them

I think maybe you need to show your mom you are mature by accepting her rules but also waiting for an appropriate time to present your case calmly and collectedly
