Usually its from underwear or pants that were a little tight. Boils will develop on that pressure point, even though one might no have the feeling that the pants is tight. Mostly they go away by themselves, however if they don't she needs to see a doctor he can prescribe ointment to bring it a head and open up, should it have puss in it. The same thing can happen, riding on a stationary bike with a hard seat.

It's pretty common. Tell your friend to see her doc . Be on the lookout for diabetes too. Make sure you get some bloodwoork done to rule this out. Good Luck. :)

It would be a problem if she has a hot date that night. I would find a way to get rid of them.
