I am directly reated to them via Henry I, but I hear many people are related to them, but it is more distant and indirect than my relation. Most people think that's interesting, because that makes me related to a large amount of world leaders in history, such as Mohammed, Charlemagne, George Washington, Napoleon, Walt Disney, Winston Churchill, Genghis Khan, and Princess Diana.

There are probably tens of thousands of people today, or more, who could claim descent from that far back on the royal family tree. Remember, both George Bush and Bill Clinton are also related to British royalty going back 800 years.

How is Mohammed related to Napoleon, George Washington, Walt Disney? Genghis Khan related to Diana?
Walt Disney a world leader?
I'm related to a royal family that existed centuries ago, and at least I can get my facts right about history.

Neither Queen Elizabeth nor Prince Phillip has any blood ties to Henry I, so how can you be related through him?
Didn't you say you were Irish in your other posts? Sorry, I have been through the genealogy going back all the way to Henry I and cannot find a single Irish name. Perhaps you could enlighten us all.
I'm also trying to find blood links between all the other people you mention and cannot. Please link your tree. Thanks.
Now, William and Harry - that's another story...by "The Royal Family" do you mean them? Princess Diana had a very interesting genealogy, which included the Scottish Kings and Lady Jane Grey. Unfortunately, the Queen's own bloodline was broken no less than twice - with the deaths of Elizabeth I and Queen Anne, both childless and foreign monarchs had to be introduced.

Many people are related to royalty, and not just the British one. I am directly descended from German dukes and duchesses. One of my great-great-great-great grandmothers was a duchess.
I'm not sure what part of Germany or what family. I tried to do research and my grandmother isn't alive anymore, so I can't ask her. She is where I got all my information.

Pretty common.
Pretty much every third person claims to be related to royalty and/or a Cherokee princess...

Wow.
I knew that Ghengis Khan and Princess Diana were brother and sister, but I didn't realize that Walt Disney was their dad.
