I'm almost 13 years old. i dont have a boyfriend yet. a lot of people i know have had them. even my other friend who i have to say is kinda chubby. i am a little chubby but i haven't gotten one yet. is it because im a tomboy?

Don't worry, you might be a late bloomer...everyone has their time to shine. Boys are a little shy at that age...so give it time.

Don't worry about it! Boys are usually shy and at your age and most of them haven't gone through puberty. I haven't had my first serious gf until I was 15 and I am good looking. Boys and girls are equally shy. So you have to be a brave person and ask the other person out. Don;t worry guys think a little chubby is better than stick skinny. Just be as attractive as you can, wear a little little makeup, do your hair, wear nice clothes. You can be attractive while still being a tomboy just dont be a total man.

a b/f isn't a possession like a frog or turtle, do get so worked up because your chubby lil friend has more personality than you, j/k. I know this stuff is serious to you young girls but don't worry, you will blossom in due time. if you don't like chubby , you can change that but ugly goes all the way to the bone, be thankful you aren't ugly. nothing wrong with being a tomboy either, just remember you are still a girl and girls are definately different than boys. sugar and spice and all that ya know. don't pick up any bad habits and you will be ok.

Relax. Having a boyfriend at 13 isn't really important. Look at when you're probably gonna get married...Sometime in your mid/late 20s, right? You still have over 10 years (which is basically twice your age) to experience the dating scene. Don't rush into having a boyfriend. Take your time and find someone who really cares about you.
Oh, and about being "a little chubby"...don't put yourself down like that. A truely great boyfriend will love you for who you are.

Don't worry about it-so what if your a little chubby as you put it. You are only 13 and have plenty of time to find a good boyfriend for you. Don't feel too bad about not having a boyfriend because I have never had one and I am 19 and there is no boy in sight for me.

I don't think it's because ur a tomboy. Some guys just don't fall for some girls. Don't be worried if you haven't had a bf yet. There r plenty of girls out there that haven't but it doesn't mean it's u that's the problem, it's probably the guys. It's just sometimes guys have more in common with some girls than others. You prpbably just haven't found any guys that r similar 2 you. Don't worry about, you will get 1 when u least expect it!

No, its not.
My friend is a tomboy and she has had many, it doesn't have anything to do with being a tomboy.
You just need to be yourself and you will find the right guy, I am almost 15 and I just got my first boyfriend. I thought no one liked me before cause I wasn't a tomboy, until I met the guy of my dreams and he likes me for me.

i did not have a girl friend until i was 18, it just takes some time to find the right person at the right time in the right situation, as a guy, i can tell you that if you have guy friends you hang out with a lot, at least some of them, if not most of them have considered you as a girl friend.. and their are lots of guys in your class or who you know that have never had a girl friend, who think they will not get one, even though you are right there next to them thinking the same thing, i wish i could do it over again and know this now.. but just remember there is lots of time, and it is no big deal, just takes some time

You're too young...and i know you think I'm saying that because I'm an adult, but it really is true. I remember when I was your age and how much I wanted a bf because all of my friends had one. I was too eager to get one and too eager to please and I ended up making mistakes that I wish I hadn't made.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd have found some thing else to expel my restless energy and I would have found an adult who would listen to me. My parents were useless.
Honestly, we do rush into these things way too prematurely - it gets in the way of all of the fun we could be having if we weren't in such a hurry.
Best of luck to you. Tell you one other thing - when the time is right, you'll be so happy you weren't in such a hurry.

Maybe. Chubbiness might be a factor too. But you don't have to have a boyfriend at 13. Some people don't get their first boyfriend/girlfriend till high school.

No I don't think so, because I know alot of tomboys that have boyfriends too. But then again maybe you are the type of girl that guys seem to think of as just friends.
