The Chinese always say it's good luck and means prosperity ahead.

That's just a good wish. Everyone wants good things happen in the coming year. I think it's nice to say that.

you should really watch the news here in taiwan! they're saying the pig year sux for a lot of ppl and blah blah blah...

i personally don't believe in it or western horoscope and stuff like that so yeah.....
