So many kids lie about their age on myspace, well what should the age recommendation be? It all on your opinion.

And to tell ya I have one I got when i was 12 just turned 13 but my mom doesnt know..so yeah

My stepdaughter is 14 and has had her myspace profile since she was 12. She kept it a secret for a couple months, but then she told me she had it and I checked the page and she was claiming to be 20! Now, mind you, she does NOT look 20...not even NOW...she doesn't even look 14! So yeah, I made her change it to her correct age and she now has her profile set to private also. And she is to give NO personal info out whatsoever.

I think 12 is a bit too young. 14, I don't have a problem with really.

I think it'd be smart to have a myspace for younger peoples (like 12-17) and then a myspace for adults (18+).

I am thirteen and I dont do myspace. Everyone I know does though. I tried once and just got a bunch of virus'. Then I never went on again.

i have signed up n numerous places lieing about my age. i got my yahoo when i was 11, and i was supposed to be 13. i said i was 23, and did the same for ebay. i really think it's a matter of the child's
maturity.

I think they should be 16. At 16, they are old enough to know the consequences to their actions, and they like being more social.

I think that it should mainly be high school and older.
