y-5=m*x and x=0

The equation of a line is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the x-intercept.
Substitute in your values for x and y, and you have
5 = 0*m + b

Simplify:
5 = b

So any equation that has a y-intercept of 5 will pass through (0,5). Your equation, then is just y = mx + 5 for any real m.

Don't see any equations to pick from, but

(0,5) is y intercept, or the b term of a linear equation

y=mx+5 passes through (0,5) for any real m

select from what? lines through (0,5) look like

y = ax + 5

where a is anything except 0.
