Yes its has. I needed to know how to do something on my computer the other day and I got many good ideas as to how to do it. I enjoy answering questions which makes me feel good. If I can help someone than I am more than willing to give my advice or opinion. I never lie about any information I give and I am as honest as I can possibly be. I feel better knowing that I may have just made a difference to one or more peoples lives. This is a wonderful outlet to give your thoughts and opinions to people who want to hear them. The only thing I don't like is when people are mean and nasty just because they can be. I try to be as positive as I can be and not listen to the mean ramblings of some people. I don't understand why people like to berate and put down other because of their questions. In my opinion there is no such thing as a stupid question and I hope people continue to feel free to ask as many as they want. Thanks

Although I don't send or receive emails on Y.A., I have met and had correspondence with some great people here.
You can say and learn a lot in these few lines-per-question, if you look at the sum of all the parts.

hmm it has been beneficial to me when i need to search for information, but i find it more beneficial in a entertaining way. I like to get on here for fun. and answer peoples dumb questions
