Haha! This is unfortunately what sometimes makes our beloved country a laughing stock! We preach about democracy, freedom of speech and justice and yet, we turn around and play the blaming game. White blame black, black blame white. What do you call it again, the race card? I trully never believed america was divided until I came to this country. Its a shame people don't refer to each other as a people of one great country with a common goal - to make life better in the united states. The country's name is the only thing that suggests that (ironically!) ..quoting you, sir, '..all they do is complain...'they are your fellow americans, suggets instead how the country can teach the less fortunate how to become more self sufficient, encourage the discouraged, suggest ideas, share ideas...all in a positive way. Something good is bound to come out of it. I would feel the same way if it was the other way around or indeed another race altogether in the sufferage, proliteriate stage. Suggets ways for better education, better health for all! That's why I think this Clinton - Obama dilema has come at an opportune time for america, there's just an inevitable need for something to change: either candidate will create a platform for this - mark my word! At the wake of it all, the 'race card' with all its blows and whistles, becomes so petty, and worthless against a bigger threat of terrorism - Remember Bin Laden? according to Newsweek, "from the mountains of Pakistan to the ridges of Afghanistan to the streets of England and America, Jihadists are, frighteningly, training for terror"... maybe we need to unite, here, in the united states.......against these terrorists.

there are a number of reasons why some black people "make it" and some blacks do not. Certain blacks make it because they meet just the right white people, who are willing to give them a chance. There is no one right reason. Many factors come into play. It is no secret that some white people have been and are racists. Such folks have attempted to hold the black man down. Then they wonder why more blacks do not get ahead. It is somewhat humorous, really. Most successful black people do not get where they are based on qualifications alone. Oftentimes, they are successful in spite of their qualifications. There are also many qualified blacks still waiting in line for a good job. Wake up, my friend.
The mentality of some people is shown above. On one hand, you ask, why are not more blacks successful? On the other hand, now that an intelligent black man is running for President, the true feelings of certain white people comes to the fore.

What do you want to here. Sacrifice and hard work or an easy solution. Not all leaders are like that. Thats why I have more respect for the Islam nation, than the rainbow coalition. THey may say it's the "whites" fault, but Islam nation encourage responsibilty among their own people. What other organizations state to swear off drugs and alcohol to improve ones self.
