I think Lakisha would win American idol. After watching all performances she looked very determined and she wanted to win. She has such a good voice too, very powerful. She also puts a lot of passion into each song.

It's hard to tell who will win right now since the competition just started. While I do believe Lakisha is hands down the best singer in the competition, I don't think she will win. (Look at Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry.) I can however make a prediction for the top 12. Guys: Blake, Chris S., Phil, Sanjaya, Brandon, and Chris R. Girls: Lakisha, Melinda, Gina, Jordin, Stephanie, and Sabrina. Reasons: Blake-he's good looking and can actually sing, Chris S.-He's funny and can sing, Phil-One of the better guys, Sanjaya- Not the best singer by far, but people will love his smile and think he's cute, Brandon-Nice smile, decent voice, Chris R.-Good looking, voice not bad Girls: Lakisha-She should already be in, Melinda-Strong voice, seems like a solid performer, Gina-she's different and has a pretty good voice, Jordin, Stephanie, Sabrina-All proved they've got what it takes and probably established a decent fan base in the process. However, I can see someone like Antonella or Sundance making it in and causing somewhat of an upset in the process.

i agree with subwayfre... lakisha has a powerfull voice, but she probably won't win, who knows what america wants, i mean after i saw Antonella stay for another week(because let's be real that performance, SUCKED) anything can happen...Sabrina suprised me, that girl can sang....out of the guys i don't really know, i like sundance at first, but he's loosing his touch i think....
