I had a miscarriage in December of last year and my doctor said that it was okay to start trying again and now we are pregnant, we don't know how far along because of irregular periods. I am so afraid that I will have another miscarriage. I know I shouldn't stress because it isn't healthy but I am so scared.
Has anyone else had a miscarriage then a healthy baby?

I got pregnant three months after miscarrying, so the spacing is almost the same as it was for you. I was SO scared about this baby, and I ended up giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby girl. Most first miscarriages are the only ones, it's only in more rare cases that a woman has two in a row. And the more women you talk to the more you will find that first miscarriages are very, very common. You will be fine. I'd say to try not to worry, but I know you will....just remember that you will appreciate and love this baby so much when he or she is born, so all that worry will be worth it !

I sure have.....Don't you worry!

I can't say that...you will always worry....after you carry this one to term, your next pregnancy will worry you just as much.
You will realize that miscarriages are as common as births, and they happen, and that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant again.

Just make sure you take your prenatal vitamins, and eat plenty!

I had a miscarriage, and just had a baby a year ago. I plan on getting pregnant this year, and will probably worry just like you...
After you get past the 16 week point, the risk should be gone.

My cousin had 2 miscarriages, but has had 2 beautiful children since then. It is very upsetting, but you will put it into perspective once you give birth to another child. I in no way am saying that you won't remember the baby you lost, but you will understand how common miscarriages are.

I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks. I got pregnant 6 months later, and went on to have my happy, healthy son that's now 20 months. I was paranoid when I was pregnant. Any cramp or twinge I felt worried, but once I past 13 weeks I felt SO much better. I also had morning sickness that I didn't have the 1st time, so that gave me some reassurence too.

I have lost two babies. And after each loss, I fell pregnant about 2 months later and had successful pregnancies.
I now have two beautiful daughters.
But I know the fear you feel. After the losing the first baby I decided not to tell anyone about subsequent pregnancies until I was 4 months along (including the Dr). And once everyone knew I had a rule that everyone had to refer to the baby with other words like bun in the oven etc. As there is an old superstition about fairies stealing your baby if it is talked about. I know its weird but I wasn't taking any chances.

i had a miscarriage with my first child, i was 21 and now i have 4 healthy childeren. after the misscarriage i thought that i would wait, but 3 mths later i found out that i was pregnant. i think that it is natural to worry but if you are concerned that much i would go to the doctor and tell him how you feel. when i was pregnant and i thought that something was wrong i would run to the doctor. so as you can imagine i was there alot. thats what doctors are there for. i hope that you can take the time to relax i understand its hard but you need it now more then ever.

The chances are you will be fine this time. Most miscarriage happen in a first pregnancy and most go on to have healthy pregnancys next time around. Follow doctors orders and voice your concerned.

I had a baby and then a miscarriage. After that I still had two more children who were fine. Its so scary when miscarriages happen and then you worry. Try to relax and dont worry many women have children after a miscarriage.

You can have a healthy baby. I had twins 7 months ago, then recently had a miscarriage. I never expected it would happen since I had just carried two healthy babies to term, but these things happen. There's no rhyme or reason to it. But it just goes to show you can go on to have healthy pregnancies.
