Nope, the income level at which BOGOF is aimed, is not the level that suffers the most greed, it helps us amke ends meet, and reduce our overdrafts, it certainly isn't a factor when it comes to having a huge house or a massive 4x4 for each family member.

BOGOF's are for us Pov's, we are desperate not greedy. Without BOGOF's this month, I'd run out of cat food for sure, and washing poweder... and I could buy more socks than anticipated ! Hardly a contribution to national greed.

i supose it has in a way. but then its just tapping in to human nature. right from the beginning people had to be greedy to survive or they wouldnt get any food or a place to sleep. now we have everything we dont need to be greedy but we are because it has been implanted in our behaviour for hundreds of millions of years. the buy one get one free items give people a chance to save money, they havnt made greed worse, just given the greedy ones an opportunity. but then you could ask....arnt the marketers greedy because they invented the system to make money....the question just goes on and on. in short yes, but really greed is everywhere so its not a big deal even if it has.

No, not really. It's just a clever marketing program thought up to increase sales. A lot of times they will jack up the price of the item, then offer a "bogof" to increase volume and sales. If anything is greedy, it is the corporations and companies promoting this practice to increase their bottom line.

This is their way of selling to those who like to save a buck..
This is not greed,it is not like they are telling you you can't have it.Or it is so highly priced that you wouldn't buy it.This is their way of improving sales.Every store has sales.
