How can I make my Razr see my friend's Razr with bluetooth?

We both have bluetooth turned on and keep searching for each other, but it refuses to find either phone. I know my bluetooth works, because I've recently had friend's send me things, granted they did it for me.

Make sure you have your bluetooth visibilty to visible and not hidden.
