They say corporations rule the US, free trade is bad, their jobs have been outsourced, etc. I think they are being wussies and cry babies because they have some of the best things in the world like walmart, mcdonalds, and free schools. So do you think they need to shut up?!

Agreed. You have the right to opportunity, not the right to a self-determined outcome.

The middle class people built this country. The country that has given you the access to become a pro athlete. Walmart? McDonalds? Free Schools? You appear to be a pompous, self-centered ***, who apparently doesn't appreciate being where he/she is. When the day comes where your job can be traded to another country where what they pay athletes is miniscule compared to what you make maybe you will be able to come down off your pedestal and understand how the majority of this country really lives. For the record: professional athletes aren't nearly worth what they are paid.

you do realize... that if the middle class keeps dropping... you're going to be out of a job too...

the middle class drives sports... and the less money they have, the fewer games they go too, jerseys they buy... the less money you make...

you put on a show for the middle class' pleasure... you don't produce anything...

if they fall... you fall...

but maybe it would be a good thing for you to actually get a real job... you don't think being an athlete is a real job do you?

let them eat cake is always a good philosophy...

the thing I don't get is... the wealthy have to have someone to work in their factories... and buy the items they make.... the middle class is a huge consumer.... by cutting them out...they are cutting their own throats and don't know enough about the world to see it?

FYI... this is why the Republicans may loose the next few elections... let them eat cake doesn't play well as a slogan...

I don't care how hard you think you worked the obscene salaries of pro athletes give you no complaint about anything. There are people who work as hard or harder than you do for a miniscule salary compared to yours.

Your snobbery shows how much you care about others and why crybaby athletes whine when they don't get 9 million a year instead of the 6 million they are getting.

Excuse me but most of us won't come close in our lifetime what you make in a year.

Corporations may not rule but the influence, because of money, is enormous. Money makes the world go around. Them that got it get what they want, them that have less get leftovers.

The "whine" of the middle class you hear would be a roar -- if there were more of a middle class to make noise; but it's rapidly disappearing and once it's gone it's going to take with it a lot of those corporations and free schools. The corporations forget they need the middle class to buy their products and services and yet they keep trimming their workforce and sending those middle class workers to lower wage jobs with fewer benefits and hence, less spending money.

Inflation is rampant; minmum wage earners now make more money, but the cost of goods and services have risen, as well; most middle class people raises are less than 10% each year, hardly keeping up with the cost of inflation.

Small businesses cannot compete with the big businesses, due to labor costs, volume, workers' compensation insurance and rent.

Education budgets are being robbed for other projects, such as paying for the curent political money pit, IRAQ.

And now in America, where there is supposed to be free speech, people are demanding the middle class to shut up?

Wait until the '08 election, my friend. Then, the people will really speak...

So McDonalds and Wal-Mart should keep me content? And no, school isn't free, you should see the school taxes I paid this year! You think I am whining when I feel that Health Insurance should be affordable at a reasonable rate to me and my family?! Try having a child with a chronic illness, then I think you would be a bit less arrogant!

Tear a tendon and tell me what you think.
It will be fun to see you limping behind the counter of Mickey Ds for minimum wage and then going to our second job as a stocker at walmart. Oh yes, no benefits, plenty of room mates and a girl who won't look twice at you because you have no future. Middle class is being outsourced and that means you won't have a chance, unless of course Daddy is paying your way, in which case you aren't middle class anyway.
Wussies, crybabies, whiners, uh-huh, it takes one to know one.

We get the most ignored by our government. Who the heck cares about WalMart and McDonalds. As for free schools, have you seen my taxes? I wouldn't call those schools free. Politicians pay more attention to the poor and the wealthy, depending on the politician. Why are you on here whinning about it if you aren't a whiner?

You don't seriously want me to eat McDonald's food? OOOOwewerrrrrrrrrrwwwwwwwww just the thought makes me want to barf.
and as far as Walmart goes,,,,,all the food there is white, full of preservatives, trans fats,,,,because they are cost effective. I will not kill myself with that crappy food, just because I can't afford the high cost of organic food. I may be middle class, but I will not lower myself to consuming trash into my body,,,, and you can't make me,,,, and you'll never ever hear me wining.,,,,,, you are the wussie,,,,,,you would probably cry if your taco at taco bell wasn't made in 1.5 seconds,,,,,,,too slow for you!!!!!!
You might have had me with the affordable stores, but the mad cow king of the us,,,,,McDonald's,,,,,, that is just sick.
