Well the starting salary of a major league baseball player is in the 200,000 dollar per year range and even if he lasts just 5 years with regular raises he is going to get a lot of money, plus they get a per diem for meals during the season so even if they play for the Royals, which are not that good of a team, they can make some jing if they don't blow the money on cars and what not.

Not all royal families are rich. Those who are, have inherited money, jewels and property that generates an income. In the case of the Queen of England, she also gets an estipend from government.

Royals are just figure-heads. They get paid by the state to open meetings of Parliment and wave when they go out in public.

They are the old rich. Money is passed down from generation to generation. They have no living expenses. They are paid by their governments

From their stupid subjects. And it passes on as inheritance, but originally it all came from cruel exploitation of "their" people. And the millions keep on growing. All European countries with monarchies give them millions every year from their national budgets. It's unbelievable, but true.

From their servants which are the peasants..which are the people!!! TAXES!!!. TAXES AND MORE TAXES...that is why they do not have a regular job...it doesn't seem fair! but it is....
