I have recipes for fresh peaches, but since they are out of season, I had to buy organic frozen peaches that are already peeled and sliced. I'd love a recipe that would keep the most nutrients in.
Also, if you have any suggestions for good books for making baby food or great websites (other than wholesomebabyfood.com...I already use that site) I love to know.

I have been told that babies shouldn't have raw fruits until 8mo so I need a recipe for cooking.

Since babies eat such a small amount, you could thaw a small amount of the frozen peaches (put the rest in the freezer to keep fresh and seal tightly to keep frost out.) Then mash the amount you're wanting to serve your baby, and put it into a tea strainer. Push the mashed peaches through the strainer with the back of a teaspoon. That will keep any long fibers out which could choke the baby.

When I had my fourth baby I was quite poor and couldn't afford the bottled food, so I put many foods through my tea strainer and the baby loved it. I even gave her some of our supper--mashed potatoes with a touch of gravy, peas, soup vegetables, etc.

That particular baby is now healthy, 40 years old, and appreciates my efforts--she loves fruits and vegetables.

I still have that tea strainer.
