Yeah, about that. I would ask your boyfriend what he would think if a girl asked a guy. He may be an extremely forward thinker.
As for my hubby, yeah, I think I would have taken away some of his masculinity if he had to tell the story of when his girlfriend presented him with a ring... or whatever it would be!
Honestly, this stuff should all be discussed well before you get engaged. During the engagement time you're just working on your communication skills that you'll need to master sometime around your 85th wedding anniversary!

I don't think that there is anything wrong with a female asking a guy to marry her, its a new generation now and things have changed its time to go out and get what you want, you will never have it if you don't, By the way he may want to ask you but he may be afraid or something, before you do it make sure yall on the same level !!!

Hey a woman that knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it, yeah! If he say no I'll marry you :-0)
If he says no then you know where he stands on the issue and it time for you to move on and stop wasting your time on him, and if he say yes he still need to ask you to marry him as will it's a two way street and both of you need to be on same side. We men are always ask you woman want it is that you want and now you'll going tell him what's on your mind and what’s in your heart! Go for it and life to short.
I like the way you think more woman need to step up to the plate and swing away.

There is nothing wrong when a woman proposes to a man. Where is it written that a woman can't propose to a man? It is a normal thing to do these days. Men should feel flattered when the woman does the asking.

It's a new day and a new age, women need to stand up and take charge. We can't wait for the man to pop the question anymore, if we do that, we'll be waiting for an eternity, If you feel that that is something that you want to do and you are sure that you are ready for it, then go for it.

I respect someone whom knows waht they want and takes control of a situation. I am that way and i expect my woman, whom is my equal, to be the same way.
If the woman wants her man, she should take her man. I applaud the girlfriend whom would ask her man to marry her. Social sterotyopes and mores are stupid. Do what feels right, aand followw your heart.

Its not acceptable to me ! But ive heard some ppl do it, ewww. Ive heard if a girl proposed marriage she shudn't say somethin like "will u marry me?" but she shud rather pop a more informal question like "lets get married?!" .
I would never ever propose to anyone.

NO NO NO NO a thousand times NO. if he was ready to get married he would ask you. you will come off desparate if you do it and besides don't you want your fantasy of being asked during sunset by the beach after a romantic expesive dinner to come true?

I'm a little old fashioned. It doesn't sound like a good idea to me. I don't think I would want a woman asking me to marry her. I really believe it's a male role.
