I think she has lost it but with Anna Nichole all over the head lines you would have to do something pretty radical to attract the papparazi at the moment

Maybe it's because I'm over 40, or maybe it's because I like to think I have a heart, or it could be that I was diagnosed with cancer and have been given a very few months to live. Whatever the reason is I seem to be one of a very small group who can tell that she is in very real pain and is headed for a very real breakdown. And I for one have a lot of compassion for not only her but for her loved ones as well. Especially her boys.
Anyone who actually thinks that what is going on with Britney is a publicity stunt, is a very cold hearted person, whose own life is so miserable that they have nothing better to do than sit in judgement of Britney and probably everyone else around them. And should probably ask for help themseleves.
All you have to do is look at her actions of late, and remember I said look, not sit in judgement, and it's obvious that she is indeed sick and in need of some serious help. For the past couple of years all she's heard or read about herself is something negative, hurtful, and at times down right hateful. Things that may or may not even be true. Let's be honest, truth and facts aren't words that you would associate with the tabloids. If she wasn't hearing she was a bad mother, than she was hearing that her husband was out there partying hard and cheating on her while she stayed home with the kids. A husband that she has been told since day one is solely with her for her money. Nothing postive has been said about her in years.
When she started out she quickly became America's sweetheart and up she went on that pedistal, a very high pedistal. But as soon as she made some very bad choices it became clear that she wasn't "superhuman" after all, she was simply human. And surprise, surprise, she went flying off the pedistal, and quickly became the butt of everyone's jokes, the pop princess everyone loves to kick now that she was down, and that is truly sad...
That's why I appauld both Craig Ferguson, late night tv host who has said he will no longer make jokes at Britney's expense. Being a recovering addict himself, it's apparent to him that her actions or pleas for help, she is a very sick girl who needs our compassion and prayers. And it wasn't just him, but Ellen Dengeres as also said that when she hosts the Oscars Sunday night, she won't be making any jokes about what is going on with Britney. As far as I'm concerned the decisions these two comics have made make them both class acts. Maybe Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conin O'Brien, the women on the View should take a cue from these two...but who am I kidding, for some reason this country loves to kick other's when they are down...especially if it's a celebrity...

I say publicity stunt. Anna Nicole Smith and Lindsay Lohan were getting way too much publicity for her liking. She had to do something to get her face on the mags and back on tv. Shave her head and going in and out of rehab did the trick.
She should just try concentrating on being a mom to her kids.

Brittney was NOT a LONG term celebrity!!!! She was nothing more than a "Marketing tool!!!!!". The people who benefited from "selling" her, made ALL the money they are going to make, with an untalented nasal sounding "baby" voice goofy bleach blond semi porn "school girl" attire wearing, appealing to young guys who "haven't", and old "perv's" who wish they could, audience......She is now the # 1 Rag magazine tabloid crap newspaper seller...that if any of us were non under wearing bar hopping, passing out in our own vomit, dropping our kids, almost dropping our kids, ON TAPE, but not our "drink", driving with an infant on our laps person, splitting from not one, not two, but three REHABS, the average person with NO MONEY FOR LAWYERS, would have "Child Protective Services" knocking at our door taking our kids away....have a psychological testing done... HAVE to go to "Classes" and mediators, to prove we are "fit" to have our kids..........OH but not "Spears"...........Money= the ability to get away with murder..........welcome to the "have's" and the "have not's"...............

I think it's more of a publicity stunt than anything. Madonna is the master of this. Dennis Rodman has pulled similar antics.
Nothing sells better than controversy, and most people are apparently stupid enough to fall for it.

i don't think it is a publicity stunt or that she lost it. It could've been her choice to shave off her hair as a point in her life that is behind her and does not want to look back. she might just be at a hard point in her life too.

I mean driving with her child on her lap?!
She has officially lost it and I personally think that if she returned to her old self it would literally be to soon!

I think that it is just that Britney Spears is going through alot of stuff right now. So that is causing her to do somethings that she shouldn't do.
