I have not yet cut my Mandavelias back yet. They look dead, are they? If not , where should I cut them back?

I am in Houston, Texas. My husband thinks they are dead, but we did not do anything to them (like not water them or anything) We did not cover them up for any freezes or temp. drops. I just hope they will grow again. Right now they look like twigs.

I'd wait till the leaves sprout out. Then trim the dead part of the vine. I think mandevilla vines loose their leaves in the winter.

Where are you? I live in OH and Mandevilla are a house plant. They die in temps 32 or less.
