CPU speed is the dual core processor speed 1.6ghz, FSB means front side bus, which equals back to your 1.6ghz...1GB ddr2 @ 533mhz is very good there is also 667mhz and 800mhz but not too sure about laptop memory, I recommend #1 more hard drive means more things to save on your laptop, and it has double the memory which means its faster than # 2 choice, for only 100USD difference I say its a good buy. good luck

To answer that question intelligently, I would need to know what you are using your computer for. Computer 1 has a 160 Gb hard drive which is almost 3 times larger than computer 2, and that would be important if you were downloading lots of pictures, music, or movies. Computer 1 also has twice the memory. Computer 2, however has a faster processor. I would go with computer 2 because I dont need that big of a hard drive, and the extra memory is not worth a hundred bucks to me.
