I'll wake up in the morning with soaked sheets every now and then. What kind of material is best for this problem?

100% Egyptian cotton. The higher the thread count, the better. At least a 300 tc. They are soft, absorbent, cool and comfortable.

I think cotton is best since it's a natural fiber and absorbs sweat. The same goes for clothes. You may want to rethink your current sleeping conditions to fix this problem. For instance, maybe you should sleep under a thinner blanket so you won't get too hot at night. If you're sleeping in pajamas, try just sleeping in underwear or nude. Also, try keeping one window away from your bed opened an inch or two to make the air in your room a bit colder. Also, you can purchase a body powder which you can just apply all over your body and it lessens the amount of perspiration your body emits.

Stay away from flannel...
Cotton very thin cotton like jersey type material sheets sold at target work awesome...

you probably need to get checked for TB. seriously night sweats is a symptom

cotton. it's the most breathable fabric. stay away from polyester.
