Ladanian Tomlinson or Peyton Manning.

Ladanian broke the TD record, Shaun Alexander, 07's cover guy, did too, but he made it to the Super Bowl. Both were MVP's

Peyton Manning was the QB of the super bowl winner and the Super Bowl MVP.

I've heard that it could be Reggie Bush on the cover, but as a Saints fan, I hope it's not true. Last running back on the cover of Madden rushed for 900 yards after an MVP season (Alexander), Marshall Faulk never rushed for 1000 yards again, Eddie George never rushed for over 3.5 yards a carry and had his "soul" taken by Ray Lewis, who also was a victim of the Madden curse. Other victims: Dorsey Levens (an average back who got WAY below average after), Barry Sanders (didn't even play the season he was on the cover - he retired) Michael Vick (broke his leg in preseason and then became Ron Mexico) and Daunte Culpepper (has sucked ever since) DONT DO IT REGGIE! As a matter of fact, I'm all for Madden himself being on the cover again. Maybe something will happen to HIM instead of a player. My other alternative is Adam "Pacman" Jones. The Madden Curse may actually HELP him.

Most likely it'll be Ladanian Tomlinson. I live in seattle and am not pleased with the Shaun Alexander madden cover last year. It's the madden jinx, the reason he was hurt this year. It wouldn't suprise me to see someone other than a running back. Peyton Manning would be a really good guess here.

Whoever it is, you can expect them to be watched carefully, not to get the jinx of the past. They won't announce who it is unitl a couple months before the game is released.

i think of that could be a good theory. The Madden cover has a curse of jinxing participant's careers. So if Sean Taylor replaced into positioned on the canopy there would not be a occupation to end. yet they only positioned on great great stars, like gamers who get the main and stuff and exposure so do no longer anticipate Taylor to be on the canopy.

Probably LT. But the madden 08 cover hasnt been decided yet. If it LT that would complicate fantasy football cause Lt is sure to be the #1 pick, but that curse is very powerful.

LT for sure, except I don't want him to get injured, but I bet that he'll be on the cover.
