Because they are afraid of the future and want to have a grasp on what they think will happen. Instead of just living life to it's fullest they look for someone to give them a push in life. They live with fears and hope that the psysic will make those fears go away. Unfortunately nobody can see into the future, there is no set path, you make your own path, but if it helps these people who are we to put them down. Everyone needs a crutch in life.

People are looking for easy answers in their life to give them hope for their futures. There are many Physic scams out there. I am a skeptic by only believing in what is proven by personel experiences. My family made me get a "reading" once and everything (even the bad) cam true!! Since then, I am more open to the experience. However, I don't believe everything that I hear. Try one some day. Advice: Do NOT give up any information during the "reading", because the "phycic" could use that info to her benefit. Hope this helps.

Physic is your great great grandmother's word for medicine.
A psychic is a person who claims to have supernatural powers.

people want to know what is in their future. Sometimes it is best not to know. There are some really bad bad readers out there but I have meet some honest ones. I do believe in the god gifted ones.

Physic? You mean the archaic word for medicine? Approved allopathic medicines are rigorously tested using double-blind tests that determine the efficacy and safety of an intervention while controlling for the placebo effect.

I think it's because people don't really have faith in their own selves and they rely too much on the future. Maybe they want their future to be planned and check the future. I don't think people should believe in it cause they're goin' the wrong direction, thinkin' it'll really happen and........BOOM! they make it happen themselves.

people want to know their future , they are desperate to find out what is going to happen , they are desperate to believe in something or somebody who will bring them at least a crumb of information they want to know.
These are usually insecure individuals...
