why do people use this as ez out for answers they could get from search engines?

because people are lazy.

it's faster just to do the research yourself but more interesting to see what people have to say. I usually get quite the laugh out of the answers....

I ALWAYS check the net for the correct answers and compare of course and do whatever I believe to be best...

Because it's easy to see what other people have for answers. Most of the time the answers come from realiable sources anyways.
