I have this necklace that is very simple, its basically leather tie with a metal washer attached, this neclace though simple means alot to me. Is there any way or any tool I can use at home to engrace 4 letters?

There are tools you can buy that basically scratch the initials in. Or if you have acess to a dremel there is a tip made for engraving that will have much deeper better looking results.

if you want it to look crappy, do it at home. other wise, get it profesionally engraved. it will look crappy if you try to do it at home with a appliance tool

if it's special to you i really suggest you get it done professionally. engraving's pretty cheap anyway.
