I am into a lot of classic hard rock and some of the bands that i really enjoy are: Van Halen, AC/DC, Rage Against the Machine, Guns 'N' Roses, Led Zeppelin, Pantera, etc.
What are some other really good bands in the Hard Rock/Classic Rock/ Metal genre?

Toys in the Attic-Aerosmith, Dark Side of the Moon-Pink Floyd, Rush-2112. Do yourself a favor listen to some Beatles albums. They're not Hard Rock but some of the Greatest music ever.

Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep, Ted Nugent, Alice Cooper, Boston, Judas Priest, Danzig, The Cult. These are all pretty hard.
The Who are great but far from metal, you might not like their mod era stuff, but the latter you might. Step out from the harder stuff only too, all classic rock is good.
