Me, who is 14 years old, 140 pounds and 6 feet tall, who can shoot the three and mid range shot, and can rebound, but isn't really aggressive, or my friend who is 13, 170 pound 6 footer, who is dominant in the paint, has a decent mid range shot, but can't make the three, but dominates me in one on ones. So who? I also run way faster than him, he is slow.

Look here,

If you would learn to play inside like you friend, you'd have a much better all-around game. START LEARNING NOW!! Don't waste your time staying outside around the perimeter. You're both 6', so you should learn to play inside just like him. A dominate paint player is always going to be better than an outside shooter. I'm 20yrs old and 6'5", I used to be like you and only stay in the mid-range/three area. But I learned to be agressive and p;ay inside and now ii've got an all-around game. Also, foul your friend inside as much as possible, it'll make him miss and make you more agressive, and pumpfake him also. Good luck

your friend is more aggressive and dominates in the paint so I would choose him right now. If you start being more aggressive and add on some poundage then I'd definitely pick you. Basically put the both of you together you got one damn good basketball player. Maybe you and your friend should learn from each other and make eachother better.

13 and 14 year olds that are 6 feet tall??? dang!!! kids are giants these days!
why worry abt who is better just be a positive player who plays well and supports his friends. If u were confident u wouldn't be comparing urself to other people. Maybe ur friend has skills but he is shy and doesnt want to show off i remember being a kid and i was scared that people would think i was showing off and wouldnt want to be my friend anymore. just play and fun already!

first of all, how are you people that huge???

second, if i were a coach i would figure that i have enough guys on my team who can make the 3 already...i need my big man to be a dominant inside force on both ends of the floor...so if i were coaching i would take your friend, but if you were to become more aggressive you seem to have the dimensions to make an impact

him of course, even if u can hit those 3 pointers and he cant, what has a higher shooting percentage? easily a in the key shot, so even if u can hit 3 pointers around .700 ur friend can hit them .800. He can just box u out if he misses and get the rbound.~~~

If you became more aggressive you could become the better player. Right now I would say your friend is better...
