Hi !!!
Yes!!! You are right, this constant move is a sign of anxiety/stress. Even that the sitting position, with her legs crossed, is very common in children her age; what is not common is the rocking back and forth.
The curling of her body, means she is trying to protect herself, from someone!!! Or probably something.
The roking back and forth means she is actually trying to sooth herself from the anguish, pain, frustration and the fact that she is scared of somebody!!!! Or something.
The blank look on her face, is very common with all the rest of
position, for a child that is going through some serious trauma!!!
She is trying to escape the mental anguish, that she is going through, by going into a trance, trying to find a special place in her mind, where she feels save, and she closes herself to others avoid feeling scared and pain, from whatever she is going through, is causing her!!!
She needs inmediate medical attention. And a doctor, should check this indefense little girl, for a posibility of
"SEXUAL ABUSE".
Also who ever is taking care of her should ask, for her to be seen by a pshychologist, A.S.A.P.!!!! All posssible sexual abuse should be ruled, in or out. In order to give her the proper medical attention!!
Now that you are so concerned, you should tell her mother, or the person that is actually taking care of this litle girl, to take her to the doctor!!! Leaving her unattended, of medical or psychological attention, is as bad, if not worst than what ever is happening to her.
GOD BLESS THIS LITLE GIFL & KEEP HER FROM ALL EVIL, FROM NOW ON, SHE NEEDS TO BE WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND SHE NEEDS TO BE RESPECTED, AS A HUMAN BEING !!
A.Z.

this action is consoling to her.there is obvious something mentally going on in her head.
Has she seen or heard of anything that could have upset her?
has she talked about anything strange at school?
Has anyone asked her?sit beside her and rock with, ask her if she wants a hug, then ask her if she would like to talk about anything?
If this continues,go to her school and ask her teachers about her actions.
Good Luck and don't give up on her.She could probably use a friend...

Not a good sign at all. Make sure she is not being abused by someone.
