Major?

There have been several Mayors who have become presidents, although not in a long time.

There have also been old age presidents, but McCain would be the oldest ever elected for his first term if that happens.

Edit:
Tom R, If elected, McCain will be over 2 years older than Reagan was when he was first elected.

Reagan lost his mind while in office and he didn't have nearly the physical problems that McCain has had, resulting from his prisoner of war days.

What are you talking about? McCain is only a little older than Reagan was... and first "Major" what do you mean? I hope that it is which ever one will be best for the USA.

Too bad you don't know your History, if McCain wins he will still be a few months younger than Reagan was when first elected
