You might just have to go the same place as old people. Just go to the same class. Another option is - try and see if there is a collegiate ballroom club in your area. Most universities have one, and the crowd tends to be younger there. Arthur Murray studios tend to attract older folks because of the way their system works. You might have better luck with private studios. You can find them on http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Directory/Studios/Default.asp or http://www.accessdance.com/dance_lessons/

They're pretty well all for older folks. Lessons tend to be a significant expense that few under age 30 can afford for long. But that shouldn't deter you a bit. I've danced with ladies aged 12 to 80+ in one party on more than one occasion.

well you can either choose to engaged a instructor to conduct private lessons, which would be very boring to dance alone or in 2s( tango is a partner dance).

alternatively you can join the high school or varsity's dance club or something. i am sure some schools do have it.

try not to join dance studios as from wad i know, most of them are the elder. seldom we would see young ones. i said seldom. did i?

A ballroom dance studio like Arthur Murray would be a good place to start.
