There is no way on this earth that I would leave a 3 month old for a few days for any reason. Your baby is attached to you because she NEEDS you. Someone else needs to make the trip.

There are thousands of people in the world who could do your job, but your baby only has one mommy.

She's attached because your all she's use to seeing. Trust me, at this age you can be gone for 1 hour or 2 days and she won't really know the difference. I know it's hard, but imagine what it will be like on the first day of school mom....:-)

Try letting her stay a few hours a day with who ever is going to take care of her. Then increase the time spent with that person. She will be happy to see you when you get back but she will be comfortable with that person while your gone.

Make sure she knows the person pretty well that you will leave her with.
This is going to hurt you more than it will your baby. I'm sure she will miss you but if she's being cared for & loved she will be fine.
Try to think positive!

Have a safe trip to and safe return to your baby.

Some people say that its a security issue, and if your child knows that their needs will be met then they have less separation anxiety. But that is too freudian for me! I started my son by leaving him with my mother for shopping trips, then dinner dates with my husband, etc. Working up to when he could handle weekends.

At that age, she will get over it pretty quickly. Just love her and tell her you will miss her and "whoever" will take care of her until you get back. She might be fussy or sad, but she'll be ok. Now tell me how to get away from my four year old. lol

Get her mixing with other people. They do adapt very quickly though.
