Look for related websites that will allow you to link your website to theirs. Some charge a fee, but many only ask for a return link. My website is linked to 32 other websites where I think potential customers might see it.

My husband does our website... I know little to nothing to be perfectly honest about it but if you stroll over to our website, he has a bunch of tools up there to help people....

http://4einc.info (click tools) and you'll see a thing at the bottom I believe for websites and stuff.... Good Key Words.... I think that's what the program is called....

Anyway, if you put key words into a search engine, that will help you, that much I know. Just put a bunch of words from this "good key" thing into the spot needed for it to be picked up by search engines and that will help. I'd say promote it here but I've tried that and my question was taken down lol.... If the question I answer can be benefitted by our site, I'll plug it, as I have here to help you.

Hope that helps and that I didn't confuse you too much...if I did, I'm sorry (go to the site and contact him if you're confused and he'll explain it for you...he's just not here right now so I can't ask him...). =)

With money - there are a lot of ways - banner ads, newspapers, magazines, radio, etc.

Without money - submitting to search engines with excellent meta key datas, spam, email marketing, word of mouth, etc.
