I'm just wondering how many days, weeks, months, etc. that a balloon could stay in the air after being filled with helium.

The balloon could stay aloft as long as the helium stayed in it, but Helium atoms are really small (second smallest atoms) so they tend to leak out of just about any container pretty fast. In a rubber balloon there are tiny spaces between the fibers of the rubber and the helium can leak out within a few days or hours. In a metallicized balloon the helium would be held in much longer - maybe weeks.

Once the helium leaks out then the balloon will fall.

Until it either bursts, or enough of the helium has leaked out to not be able to support the containment material

I just threw out two from New years eve, they were still in the air but I got sick of them so I popped them.
