Before comparing them we have to look at the level each one is playing. Terry plays the champions league every year and he proved he's among the top 3 in the planet while King is not even among the top 10.
No wonder Terry has been granted the national team captaincy.

John Terry is a committed defender and captain of his club and country. Though it doesn't just mean John Terry is doing all the work, since he was missing from the Chelsea defence they really struggled, whereas I'm not sure Ledley would have the same influence as Spurs haven't been the most consistent club in recent years

without doubt its john terry he is quicker stronger better in the air and in the tackle terry is one of if not the best centre halfs in the world and the fact that he captains england shows it as ledley king is only on the fringes of the england team
