I agree that Saha may be Premier League quality but not Man United quality. I didn't see why Man U paid so much for him from Fulham when he was only ok there.
A team like Manchester United should have the scouting system in place to find their next goalscorer. Maybe keeping Saha as a squad player would be ok for competition for places but I don't think he should be a first choice for the team.
Maybe Man United should have paid £8 million for Andy Johnson, he's English and scoring goals for a mid table team....just think what he could do with Giggs and Ronaldo supplying the crosses!!!!!

He's a faster player than Van Nistelrooy but when it comes to his job your right, he may not do it right. But even still, I think even though he may not be Man Utd class he's a good player and when he's on form he really is on form so I don't know really- but Fergie is a class manager so if he's keeping him he must see something in Saha we don't.

Have you watched Saha play lately? You're definately right he is no van Nistelrooy. I believe that if Saha's play doesn't get better by the end of the season, Man U should sell him while he is still as overrated as he is, and try to find a better striker.

I always thought Louis Saha was OK, BUT, just recently he has not been playing very well, I do not think anybody thought he was any better than Ruud Van Nistlerooy, It was at time a fact that Saha was playing better than Van Nistlerooy was. Which is why he (Ruud) had his hissie fit.

Saha has missed a hell of a lot of football in recent years, but before he joined Man Utd he was on fire - yes they paid a lot of money for him, but like any good player, you need to be playing regular football to get to your best. Look at Forlan - he was never given a chance, but showed glimpses of what he can do.

In my opinion: saha is not as good as ruud, but has some potentional to try an at leats score...you can't compare van nistalroy with saha, ruud is way way way way better, saha is kinda immature.......

I do believe he's a good player but not a Man U quality... He cares more about scoring which is shooting at bad position and that results by wasting balls.
I do understand he's been hired to score goals but for me as long as you make the team win that's what counts. What I don't like about him is his shooting he doesn't care how he's positioned but Nistelroy didn't force to score.
Thanx!
